At Framesandfans, we correct factual errors rather than deleting content. When a substantive correction is made to an article, a note is appended to the foot of the page stating what was amended and the date of the change. This ensures a transparent record for all readers.

A substantive correction addresses a factual inaccuracy that changes the meaning or utility of the information, such as an incorrect performance figure, price, or specification. Minor typographical errors, grammatical fixes, or minor formatting updates that do not alter the factual content are not flagged with a correction note.

To report an error, please provide the full article address and quote the exact claim you believe to be incorrect. This allows for precise verification. We aim to investigate and implement any necessary corrections within two business days of a report being received, with communication to the reader who submitted it.

For reference pages, such as those for a specific component or monitor, facts are also corrected when the world changes. This includes permanent price adjustments, the discontinuation of a product, or the release of new benchmark data from a verified source that supersedes our original information. Such updates are treated as substantive corrections and are noted accordingly.
