Editorial Policy

Framesandfans publishes factual reference material and reporting on computer hardware and its performance. Our subject is the component and the frame rate it actually delivers per dollar. We will not publish betting content, invented quotes, or any form of health, legal or financial advice presented as instruction. We do not report on the private lives of individuals.

Our work is divided into reporting and reference material. Reporting in our News section covers new product announcements, industry developments and events. All other sections, such as Components, Benchmarks and Games & performance, consist of reference pages. These pages, like those for a specific Component or game, are built from verified data and testing to serve as a lasting resource. They are updated only when new, substantive information is available.

We handle claims that cannot be independently verified with caution. Such assertions are either omitted or, if relevant to a news story, are clearly attributed to their source and contextualised as an unverified claim. We do not present speculation as fact.

All images are chosen for their illustrative value to the subject. We use real photographs, always crediting the source where one exists. We will never publish a software-generated image of a real person's face. Product imagery is intended to show the item accurately.

Readers with corrections, suggestions or concerns about our editorial policy are welcome to write to the editorial team. Correspondence should be sent via the contact address provided on the website.
