Samsung has unveiled its 2027 Odyssey gaming monitor lineup, featuring a new 720Hz OLED ultrawide and a 1100Hz Fast IPS model.

Samsung has revealed its next-generation Odyssey gaming monitor lineup for 2027, headlined by a new 49-inch ultrawide capable of 720Hz. The company also previewed a 27-inch Fast IPS monitor that will push refresh rates to 1100Hz.
The flagship model is the Odyssey OLED G9 (G95SJ). It is a 49-inch DQHD display. Samsung bills it as the first of its kind to reach a 360Hz refresh rate. It uses a fifth-generation QD-OLED panel. The monitor features a peak brightness of 1300 nits and a 0.03ms gray-to-gray response time. A dual-mode function allows users to switch between native DQHD resolution at 360Hz or a DualHD mode that can reach up to 720Hz.

Moving beyond OLED, Samsung is developing a high-speed Fast IPS monitor. The 27-inch Odyssey G6 (G60H) is designed to offer extreme refresh rates. Through a dual-mode function, it can deliver up to 1100Hz in HD resolution or 600Hz in QHD. Samsung expects this model to launch in the second half of 2026.
The KitGuru report did not provide pricing or exact launch dates for the OLED models beyond their 2027 timeframe. The announcement focuses on the technical specifications and refresh rate capabilities of the new displays. Samsung's lineup aims to cater to gamers seeking both the visual quality of OLED and the extreme speed of advanced IPS panels.
