Acemagic F9A Mini Workstation Debuts with AMD Ryzen AI Max+
Acemagic will launch its F9A AI mini workstation at IFA 2026, featuring AMD's new Ryzen AI Max+ PRO 495 processor.

Acemagic will introduce its F9A AI mini workstation at IFA 2026, featuring AMD's new Ryzen AI Max+ PRO 495 processor. The company will exhibit the system from September 4 through September 8 at Booth 128 in Hall 6.2 of Messe Berlin.
This compact computer measures 158.5 by 158.5 by 81.5 millimeters, resulting in a volume of approximately two liters. It is among the first announced systems based on AMD's professional Ryzen AI Max+ platform.
The processor is a 16-core, 32-thread chip with integrated Radeon 8065S graphics and a dedicated neural processing unit. It can reach a maximum boost frequency of 5.2 GHz. According to AMD, the NPU is rated for up to 55 TOPS, while combined CPU, GPU, and NPU performance is listed at up to 131 TOPS. These are theoretical platform capabilities, and actual application performance will depend on software support and workload distribution.
Unified Memory Architecture
The system's defining feature is its support for up to 192 GB of LPDDR5X-8533 unified memory. This architecture allows the CPU, integrated GPU, and NPU to access the same pool of system memory, eliminating separate memory pools. Acemagic says this lets the integrated Radeon GPU work with larger datasets than would fit in the dedicated video memory of most consumer graphics cards.
The company claims to have used the F9A PRO 495 to run the 284-billion-parameter DeepSeek V4 Flash model locally. However, Acemagic has not published details on the quantization format, context length, token-generation speed, or power consumption for this test. Running a model and delivering practical interactive performance are different measurements, requiring independent verification.
Connectivity and Expansion
Connectivity for the mini workstation is comprehensive. It includes two USB4 ports, two 2.5GbE network connections, Wi-Fi 7, and Bluetooth 5.4. For display output, it offers HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 2.1.
An OCuLink connection using four PCIe 4.0 lanes provides an option for attaching external graphics or storage hardware. This interface offers lower protocol overhead than USB4. Internal storage is handled by a single M.2 2280 PCIe 4.0 x4 slot, which supports NVMe SSDs with capacities of up to 4 TB.
A Second Model with Ryzen AI Max+ 395
Acemagic will also exhibit an F9A model equipped with the existing Ryzen AI Max+ 395 processor. This variant offers a comparison to the new PRO 495 model.
| Feature | Ryzen AI Max+ 395 Model | Ryzen AI Max+ PRO 495 Model |
|---|---|---|
| Processor Cores/Threads | 16 cores, 32 threads | 16 cores, 32 threads |
| Max Boost Clock | 5.1 GHz | 5.2 GHz |
| Integrated Graphics | Radeon 8060S | Radeon 8065S |
| Max Memory Support | 128 GB | 192 GB |
| Pre-sales Start | September 10 | Not announced |
| Retail Price/Date | Not announced | Not announced |
The 395 model's 128 GB memory capacity is described as sufficient for many development, rendering, and local-inference workloads. Pre-sales for this version are scheduled to begin through Acemagic's website on September 10.
The Ryzen AI Max+ PRO 495 model is currently being previewed through the company's online store. According to the source report, pricing and a firm retail-release date for this flagship model have not been announced.
