Lenovo has detailed the full specifications for its upcoming RTX Spark-powered laptops. The company announced the Yoga Pro 9n clamshell and the Yoga 9n 2-in-1 convertible, both featuring Nvidia's Blackwell RTX graphics and Grace CPUs.
Both systems will use Grace central processors with configurations of up to 20 cores. They will be equipped with Blackwell RTX graphics processing units featuring up to 6,144 cores. This indicates multiple RTX Spark chip variants will be available for selection. The memory and storage configurations differ between the two models.
| Model | Max Unified Memory | Storage Type | Screen Size & Resolution | Refresh Rate Range |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Yoga Pro 9n | 128GB | Not Specified (Implied higher-end) | 15.3-inch, 2560 x 1600 OLED | 48 - 165 Hz |
| Yoga 9n 2-in-1 | 64GB | QLC | 16-inch, 2880 x 1800 OLED | 30 - 120 Hz |
The Yoga Pro 9n is listed with a thermal design power of up to 80 watts. According to Tom's Hardware, this is one of the first official TDP figures disclosed for an RTX Spark system. The TDP for the 2-in-1 model remains unknown. Both laptops feature 9.2-megapixel cameras with a direct connection to the processor and support the latest Wi-Fi standards.
Design and Build Quality
Lenovo's new laptops feature an all-black aesthetic with metal constructions. The design incorporates a mix of reflective and matte materials, a signature of the Yoga line historically offered in dark blue. A notable design return is present in the convertible model. The Yoga 9n 2-in-1 revives a soundbar integrated into its hinge, a feature the company had discontinued years ago. This design aims to provide clear audio regardless of the device's orientation.
Performance and Use Case Positioning
Lenovo is marketing the clamshell Yoga Pro 9n as a high-performance AI machine. It use the Nvidia chip and CUDA software to enable "increasingly sophisticated AI models to run locally on the device." The system is also advertised for gaming, development work, video editing, and rendering. Its haptic touchpad supports pen input for precise control. Despite carrying the premium consumer Yoga brand, Tom's Hardware suggests the Pro 9n is arguably a workstation-class device.
Windows 11 is expected to gain features for more agentic AI operations, such as OpenClaw and Hermes. These will use Nvidia's openShell framework alongside Windows' own security layer.
Focus on Creativity and AI Tools
The Yoga 9n 2-in-1 is positioned more heavily as a creativity-focused device. This emphasis comes from its touch-friendly convertible design and included Yoga Pen Gen 2 stylus. Lenovo's blog posts highlight AI tools within creative software like ComfyUI and Adobe Premiere Pro. The company also promotes the ability to run local AI models on the device, specifically naming LTX, a model for video rendering in physical space, and FLUX, a text-to-image model.
Pricing and specific release dates for both laptops are not yet public. Lenovo states pricing will be announced at launch. Nvidia has previously announced that the RTX Spark platform is scheduled for release in the fall. The 2-in-1 model is slated for a reveal ahead of the IFA trade show.
