The NiPoGi Hyper H1 mini-PC, equipped with an AMD Ryzen 7 7735HS processor, has been reviewed for its gaming performance. According to testing by Igor's Lab, the system achieves a mid-range position, performing better than the Intel-based Hyper H2 model from the same series but behind other mini-PCs using the identical CPU.

Packaging and Scope of Delivery

The system comes in a white box with a generic front. The back provides basic information. The unit is protected by layers of cardboard and foam during transport, with accessories in separate boxes. These include an HDMI cable, a combined wall and VESA mount with screws, and a power supply. The power supply provides a maximum of 65 watts and carries the model designation AD0651-1903420F.

Gaming Frame Rate Benchmarks

The source conducted gaming tests at specific resolutions and settings. In Counter-Strike 2 at 1920 x 1080 pixels and low graphics settings, the Hyper H1 achieved an average of 108.77 frames per second (FPS). Its minimum frame rate was 20.94 FPS, with 1 percent and 0.1 percent low frame rates of 54.92 and 38.17 FPS respectively.

Grand Theft Auto V was tested at 1280 x 720 pixels with FXAA, MSAA, V-Sync, and Tessellation disabled. The internal benchmark showed an average of 103.27 FPS. The minimum frame rate was 48.47 FPS, with a 1 percent low of 62.79 FPS and a 0.1 percent low of 56.29 FPS.

For Rainbow Six Siege X at 1920 x 1080 pixels with 50 percent scaling and low quality, the system averaged 63.74 FPS. The minimum was 34.33 FPS, with 1 percent and 0.1 percent lows of 43.72 and 36.62 FPS.

Performance and Thermal Assessment

The review states the Hyper H1 does not fully exploit the potential of its Ryzen 7 7735HS processor. The cooler remains very quiet under maximum load, and temperatures stay within a good range. This thermal and acoustic headroom could, in principle, support a higher power target. However, the source notes this was not implemented, resulting in correspondingly lower performance.

In a direct series comparison, the Hyper H1 performs better than the previously tested Hyper H2 with an Intel processor. Yet this advantage is deemed insufficient for an unequivocal performance win. Other mini-PCs with the same CPU have achieved higher results in testing, placing the Hyper H1 in an overall mid-range position.

Price and Configuration

At the time of the review's publication, the final price for the tested configuration was 494 euros. This price included a specified discount promotion and the use of a coupon code, "43Q69K24". The tested unit featured 24 GB of DDR5 memory and a 1 TB SSD. Under the circumstances, the review considered this price reasonable.
